This project, with its sophisticated minimalism, marks a turning point in Sandra Benhamou’s work. Honey-colored parquet, black terracotta, combed plaster, rounded openings and cornices… natural materials, the pure colors and the delicate details create an astonishingly serene, focused, and enveloping atmosphere for a Parisian apartment. The indirect, diffused light enhances the impression of a suspended, protective, and almost secret space. Here, the sculptural chairs by Philolaos, the sofa designed by Tobia Scarpa, and Sheila Hicks’ immaculate artwork resonate tenderly.
