Beneath the false ceilings, there are moldings. Sandra Benhamou began by restoring the Haussmannian character of this apartment, reviving its original qualities and sophistication.
With a few gestures and materials, she then conferred it a timeless dimension. The variation of a single tone and the use of mirrors create the sensation of a unified space, while the curved lines of the furniture soften an otherwise expected and rigid layout. The raw furniture and graphic details lend a minimal and modern temperament to the overall design.
Gently filled with abstract artworks, handcrafted objects, and nods to both wabi-sabi and the seventies, the spaces are elegant and comfortable, warm and precise.
